Living with Art
-Seasonal Coordinate-

There are pictures that make the music flow over time. It seems that you can hear a little suspicious music from this Delvaux's "dance". At the same time, it is a world view that makes you want to entrust yourself to the bewitching atmosphere. How about decorating a picture with such a fantastic theme with green like this? Isn't the suspicious beauty affirmed and a very open atmosphere? It's a feeling of openness as if you were in the literature and gained freedom. How about incorporating such space into your living space?

From spring to early summer, many flowers begin to bloom, and I am probably not the only one to feel a little uplifted. Among such flowers, the peony, which blooms gorgeously from April to May, is a popular subject for Japanese painting. It was introduced from China as a flower that symbolizes wealth and has been loved for a long time. Its exotic and majestic personality gives off a presence in the space. It is often drawn in red and white or combined with lions or butterflies, so it may be fun to decorate such figurines together. There is a sense of volume, so it's a good idea to decorate it with a little space around the painting.

In Japan, we celebrate "Hina matsuri (doll festival or peach festival)", which is a festival for young girls wishing them to have a good marriage. Traditionally, we decorate dolls called "Ohinasama" which includes a collection of 15 dolls and other miniature furniture on a stair shaped table. Nowadays, this could be difficult, or maybe your daughter has grown up. In such cases, we advise you to decorate with a painting of  "Ohinasama" or paintings related to the theme. It is a perfect way for an adult woman to celebrate "Hina matsuri", enjoy the atmosphere, and be reminded of the days when you were just a little girl. You can find paintings of "Ohinasama" in frames as well, but hanging scroll makes a special atmosphere.

Spring is the season when various flowers begin to bloom and you can feel the breath of life. However, there are still cold days in February and early March, so it may be a while before the garden blooms. In such a case, let's fell the spring by decorating your room with a painting of flowers with green. Here, we introduce the wonderful coordination with a painting of roses. By adding a little green, the flowers in the painting will be emphasized and it will be even more wonderful.
