Chiharu Shiota, 1972-, was born in Osaka. She is a Japanese contemporary artist living and working in Berlin, Germany. She has participated in numerous solo and international exhibitions in museums around the world and is known for being selected to represent the Japanese Pavilion at the international art exhibition Venice Biennale (Italy) in 2015.
