Paul Delvaux (September 23, 1897 - July 20, 1994) was a painter born in Liege, Belgium.

He created his own world of dreams and nostalgia, as well as female figures like those of the 16th century Mannerists. In her works, she repeatedly depicts nude women with large, expressionless eyes and pubic hair, train stations, trains, skeletons, and scholars observing something with a magnifying glass, etc. In the background, she often uses perspective to depict cobblestone streets and railroad tracks, and the ruins of ancient Greek temple-like buildings. The ruins of buildings such as ancient Greek temples are often used. He is often depicted with a perspective view of cobblestone streets and railroad tracks in the background.
